Scholarship Program Overview

One of our top priorities in establishing the AEP scholarship program was to provide college scholarships to students seeking financial aid who are currently pursuing a degree in an environmental field. The program awards promising students with financial need, superior academic performance, and demonstrated strength of character, a well-rounded personality and a record of accomplishment in giving back to the environmental community.

Scholarship applications are accepted from August 1st to November 1st and the scholarships are awarded in January each year. The amount awarded ranges from $500 to $2,000 per student and is based on a number of factors including letters of recommendation, academic performance, and a personal statement.
