As Senior Marketing Coordinator for AECOM, Janet not only prepares proposals and seeks out interesting
business opportunities for AECOM, but also interacts with many different firms in the environmental industry as
teaming partners.
Janet uses these contacts to encourage people to attend AEP functions, become members, speak at AEP events, and to
recruit chapter board members.
Her industry association and volunteer experience includes serving the Superior California Chapter of AEP in
various capacities since 1998, including president, newsletter editor (1998-2003), and CEQA workshop site
coordinator.
She also is involved with the Society of American Military Engineers and the Professional Environmental Marketers
Association.
In the past she served on the Minority Business Opportunity Committee as board president, various committee
chairs, and Minority Enterprise Development Conference Chair, Workshop Coordinator, Exhibitor Chair, and Publicity
Chair in various years for a conference drawing 600 to 1,000 attendees per year;
Registration Chair for Bayside Church Children's Christmas Program;
and numerous volunteer activities related to her children's school and sports programs.
