General Chapter Meetings
The Superior California Chapter is pleased to invite members and non-members to our monthly programs.
They will occur on the last Wednesday of every month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, but allowing for some flexibility for our
speakers, at a location to be announced.

Chapter Outings
In 2010, the AEP Superior California Chapter is partnering with Green Drinks to continue our Monthly Stress Mitigation tradition. "Green Drinks maintains a casual atmosphere to hang with people that share interests and passions for the environment, sustainability, and all things green." Green Drinks meets the first Thursday of every month, from 6:00 – 8:00, in different locations in the Sacramento area.
Many of you have been regularly attending our Monthly Stress Mitigation and we’ve found a great partner in the
Green Drinks folks; therefore, we will continue to mingle with them the First Thursdays of the month
from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, usually at
Brew It Up!
at 14th & H Streets.
We’ll keep you posted on the venue each month.

In 2010, the Superior California Chapter of AEP will also keep offering field trips and site visits for our members and
their guests.
Mixers and lunchtime presentations are a great way to meet other environmental and planning professionals and keep
abreast of current issues.
They are a cornerstone of AEP.
But mixers and lunches are indoor activities, and we are environmental professionals.
Our hearts are in the outdoors. So we will hold field trips, site visits, and mobile workshops.
We hope these trips will provide quality educational and bonding experiences for our members.
We are considering environmental education activities, mobile workshops to actual project sites to learn about
case studies, and fun trips like vernal pool tours, wildflower walks, and hikes to unique places.
Perhaps you have a project you are particularly proud of and would like to share some lessons learned.
Maybe you know of a special outdoor natural history location you’d love to share with your fellow AEP members.

Monthly Chapter Board Meetings
The Board Members meets at lunch on a monthly basis, or more frequently as needed, usually on the second Wednesday of
the month.
Our Board meetings are open to the membership, if anyone is interested in attending.

CEQA Workshops
The California AEP sponsors a series of annual
workshops
across California about the California Environmental Quality Act.
The following AEP Fall 2010 CEQA Basics & Refresher Workshops is scheduled, all day from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
